Editorial Process & Governance

The Lyceum India Journal of Social Sciences ISSN (Online):3048-6513 operates under a clearly defined editorial governance structure to ensure academic independence, transparency, and integrity in all publishing decisions.

Editorial Authority

The Editor-in-Chief holds primary responsibility for the academic content of the journal and oversees the editorial and peer review processes. The Editor-in-Chief is supported by Associate Editors and the Editorial Board.

All editorial decisions are based exclusively on scholarly merit, relevance to the journal’s scope, and the outcome of the peer review process.

Role of the Editorial Board

The Editorial Board assists in:

  • Identifying suitable reviewers
  • Advising on editorial policies
  • Ensuring academic standards
  • Supporting ethical publishing practices

Members of the Editorial Board act in an advisory and evaluative capacity and do not influence decisions outside their academic expertise.

Publisher’s Role

The publisher provides administrative, technical, and infrastructural support, including website management and publication logistics. The publisher does not interfere in editorial decision-making or peer review outcomes.

Decision-Making Process

Final decisions regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection of manuscripts are made by the Editor-in-Chief or designated editors, taking into account reviewer recommendations and editorial assessment.
